Upon the purchase an offset, a certificate acknowledging your commitment and decal will be mailed to you along with our personal thanks for your commitment to participate in the climate change revolution.
What We Do
HOME OFFSETS buys verified carbon offset credits and removes them from the market by selling the retirement of the credit to individuals and families wishing to offset the emissions that cannot be eliminated or reduced from their life. The retirement ‘Offset’ that is purchased removes carbon credit from the available pool of credits so that they are never traded again. This transaction represents CO2 removed forever from the atmosphere. This is the same method used by countries subscribing to the Kyoto Protocols.
The offsets are derived from regulated and verified carbon exchange transactions of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) which is the recognized exchange for trading GHG. The projects trading greenhouse gas emissions on this exchange are largely from industrial companies, cities and government organizations that are fighting for climate change today. Every project is legally binding, verified and audited which provides for the highest quality offset available.
